I love to read. And drink coffee. And read. And eat cake. And drink wine.
I am rarely seen without a book in hand (although in this modern world, I have fallen for the ease of the Kindle app on my phone!)
I love all genres, from romance to sumptuous chick-lit, fantasy to period dramas, if it's well written and enthralling I will keep turning the pages!
My ultimate read is a good crime thriller and Peter James, Val McDermid and Harlan Coben are among my favourite authors. My bookshelf includes everyone from Catherine Cookson & Jackie Collins, Enid Blyton & John Grisham and the 'usual' Bronte's, Stephen King, Ian Rankin, Shakespeare, Dickens, Dahl etc...
I've started this blog to share my thoughts on the books I have read (and will read in the future!), and as such, all opinions are my own.
